Dear Dalia awwad,
I’m writing to invite you to visit the new Millennium Promise blog. In a little more than two months since the blog launched, over a dozen members of the Millennium Promise family, both in New York and across Africa, have contributed nearly 30 entries thus far. The most recent post was written by Millennium Promise Co-founder, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Malaria, Mr. Raymond Chambers. It shares the latest success story from the mass anti-malaria bed net distribution campaign in Nigeria.
Other recent entries include a story about the mobile school in the Millennium Village of Dertu, a pastoralist community in northern Kenya, and information about the Millennium Village-inspired national scale-up program in Mali targeted towards the 2 million most food-insecure people in the country.
We hope you find the blog to be an interesting and informative tool for learning about some of the latest developments at Millennium Promise. We also hope that you will share your thoughts and feedback about our work through the comments section of the blog.
Many thanks for your ongoing support of Millennium Promise and the Millennium Development Goals.
Best regards,
